Person-Centred OT for NDIS Participants
Journey to Capability is a privately owned occupational therapy practice committed to empowering individuals with disability to live with greater independence, confidence, and dignity. Founded by an experienced occupational therapist with a strong background in functional assessments and community-based support, the practice is grounded in a person‑centred and strengths‑based philosophy.

Our Services
We walk alongside you—providing expert assessments, practical solutions, and compassionate support to help you live your life with confidence and capability. Journey to Capability proudly supports NDIS participants (self‑managed and plan‑managed) across the Central Coast and Lower Hunter–New England regions, with telehealth options available for clients outside the primary service area.
Specialist Occupational Therapy Assessments
We provide specialist OT assessments to support NDIS access, reviews, and change of circumstances, delivered in person within our service region or Australia‑wide via telehealth. Each assessment includes a comprehensive report (typically completed within 14 business days).
Capacity Building
We provide ongoing occupational therapy grounded in person‑centred, neuroaffirming, evidence‑informed practice, supporting individuals to build independence and confidence. Our focus is on meaningful participation across home, school, work, and community environments.
Assistive Technology (AT)
Assessment and prescription of equipment that enhances independence and safety, including mobility aids, bathroom equipment, and communication devices. Services include trials, supplier collaboration, and preparation of supporting documentation for NDIS funding.
